Piñata Painting Party!

Members of all ages are welcome to join us to paint enrichment piñatas for their favorite zoo animals!

Each participant will have the opportunity to customize their own piñata, which will be used for animal enrichment throughout February. Please register each person planning to attend. Limit 4 seats per membership.

The event is located in the Keller Learning Center beneath the AT&T Endangered Species Carousel. You will check in with your membership card at the building's entrance.

Learning staff will be present to answer your animal and enrichment questions. Bring your curiosity and clothes you don't mind getting washable paint on!

Keepers, veterinary staff, and educators collaborate to provide these types of experiences to animals and engage the public in better understanding animal welfare. Vets and keepers use their knowledge of animal behavior to choose safe materials and design appropriate enrichment then hand it off to volunteers and educators that help to create and interpret enrichment. When you participate in the Piñata Painting Party, you’re part of the team that is working to provide excellent animal care to animals at Lincoln Park Zoo!
